Eutella Simon

Eutella Simon has a life-long passion for reaching out to others. For many years she has worked within the areas of local government and mental health providing support to vulnerable and disadvantaged individuals.

Eutella is a member of the Stratford Seventh-Day Adventist Church where she serves as Community Ministries Leader. She is also the Community Ministries Coordinator for Area 6C. Eutella’s passion for community service work is driven by her desire to help people rebuild their lives through the provision of emotional and practical support. Working in partnership with Newham Council, the church have each year provided a winter shelter for the homeless which has also led to the employment and housing of some individuals.

In addition to her involvement within community services, Eutella is also employed by the Stanborough Press in the running of their Book Shop at the Advent Centre based in Central London.

Her favourite text is Matthew 25:40 where Jesus commends his followers for meeting the needs of those often considered as being the least significant in society.

Ultimately, Eutella’s desire for the church is that we be relevant within our communities by offering practical support while also sharing the love of Jesus to everyone in need.
